Non-Destructive Material Testing (NDT)
not damaging testing
generally divided into the following methods:
surface homogeneity - searching for defects on the tested surface (MT magnetic method and PT penetration method)
inner homogeneity - searching for defects inside the tested material (UT ultrasonic method and RT radiographic method)
An experienced and qualified workforce, certificated by an independent certification organization in accordance with EN 473 at Level II, performs all methods (MT, PT, UT, RT) of non-destructive material testing within UNEX a.s.
Types of tests:
UT materials (ultrasonic testing of sheets, rolled products, welds, castings and other special parts)
RT materials - X-ray testing - in X-ray pictures- material thickness up to 50 mm
X-ray TV testing - directly on TV screen (optionally video recording) - material thickness up to 40 mm
MT materials (magnetic control)
PT materials (penetration method)
Measuring thickness with an ultrasonic detector
